For linphone-0.4.x, you must install libosip first (get it from here), and then linphone. If you choose to install a libosip from http://osip.atosc.org, you must configure it with --enable-linphone option.

RPMS have been offered generously by Joel Barrios.
Debian packages have been graciously brought here by Laurent Luyckx.
Note that if you use alsa sound drivers and you encouter problems, perhaps you should compile and install linphone using sources.
If you are using a suse 7.0 or 7.1, you can download the rpm with alsa driver support. For other distributions, I don't know, so try them...
Another important note: alsa native support does not work with unstable alsa version: 0.9beta,etc.

WANTED TESTERS !!!

If you have little free time, please email me to tell me if it works or not. As linphone is a new program, I need to know that. Fill the the form below and include it in your email:

linphone version:
Host type (PC, Mac...):
Os type (Linux, BSD...):
Call distance (approx. in kilometers):
Works ? (Yes or No):
If it does not work describe your configuration:
Connection type (56k, ADSL...):
Used Codec (LPC10 or GSM):
Describe the problem, eventually join the messages written to the terminal.

Thank you very much for your help !
